Join us for our much-anticipated annual Bastille Day celebration here at The Old Custom House, for an unforgettable afternoon of French-inspired elegance, indulgence and celebration.

Our 2026 event will be our biggest Bastille Day celebration yet... Expect a vibrant and elegant atmosphere, exceptional service, and a five-star entertainment experience. This year the entire venue will be transformed for the occasion, with multiple live entertainment acts across both floors of The Old Custom House.

Enjoy a lively social setting complete with outstanding Champagne, refined dining and immersive entertainment throughout the afternoon. Your experience includes 60 minutes of free-flowing Moët & Chandon Champagne, followed by a beautifully curated two-course menu, all set within one of Penarth’s most iconic waterfront venues.

Known in France as Le Quatorze Juillet, Bastille Day is one of the most iconic dates in the French calendar, and we invite you to celebrate it with us in style.

Last year’s event sold out within 48 hours, so early booking is highly recommended.

Tickets are non-refundable after 3 days from date of purchase.

Tickets bought within 5 days prior to event date are not refundable.

(Free-flow service runs strictly from 12:15pm to13:15pm).

ARRIVAL TIME:

Our complimentary free-flow Moët & Chandon Champagne hour runs strictly from 12:15pm to 13:15pm.

Guests are kindly asked to arrive on time, as late arrivals will unfortunately not be entitled to additional time or compensation for any missed portion of the free-flow hour.

SEATING & TABLES REQUEST:

Please note this is a social Bastille Day Party – Moët & Chandon Champagne event held within The Custom House. Your ticket grants entry to the event only and does not include a reserved table, restaurant area, or specific seating.

Table allocation will be spread across the entire building and will be managed by the team. We do not allocate or guarantee specific tables or locations. Requests may be submitted in advance; however, these cannot be guaranteed.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL

We want everyone to enjoy the event in a safe and pleasant atmosphere.

The management reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to any guest who appears intoxicated, in line with UK licensing laws.
